Okay the taste is amazing, but they turned out looking like this:
Not perfectly round (I don't have a muffin tray), the frosting for sure don't look as artistic as Alicia's (I think I used too much lemon juice, the icing was way too soft), and would definitely not show them off at work (what would they think about me?).
I'm just happy they taste amazing, and I now just need a muffin tray, less lemon juice and another try, but not right now, because for now its weekend!
HeeHee! That's Awesome! I love them. I love that they are lopsided and "not perfect." Who decided cupcakes need to look round anyway? ; )
ReplyDeleteYes a muffin tray is a must, and when making cream cheese icing if it is too soft add more icing sugar and if it is too thick then you can add some more lemon juice or milk to thin it down again.

ReplyDeleteI registered for a cupcake courier when I got married - it's the cutest little container and holds 50 cupcakes!
But they still look yummy, even if they're not round!! I can almost smell the lemon!!
